Publication Process

Manuscript Editorial Process

  • Initial preview

The editorial office staff checks the similarity of substance with other sources (similarity checking), and the completeness of additional files (materials provided in Community Service, questionnaires, and other relevant data).

The initial length of the pre-review review process is a maximum of 14 days from the submission of the manuscript, then communication between the editorial office staff and the author will go through the discussion panel on the submission page.

The editor is adjusted to the knowledge contained in the manuscript. A pre-review review is carried out to communicate the completeness of the substance of the content of the manuscript prior to peer review through a panel discussion, the time required in this process depends on the availability of the editor, and the length of the pre-review is a maximum of 30 days from the assignment.

  • Formal review

Review of bestari partners is carried out by colleagues other than members of the editorial board, or can be carried out by members of the editorial board of the JIPPM journal. The editor will send the manuscript (without the identity and affiliation of the author) to several (at least two) review partners in accordance with the scientific discussion of the manuscript. Communication between reviewers and authors will be moderated by the editor, the length of one review/manuscript under review (round) is two weeks, and the total time in this process is a minimum of 30 days, and a maximum of 75 days.

  • Postreview

The post-review review is carried out by the JIPPM editor. The communication that is built between editors, writers, and editor-in-chief in this process aims as a final part to get the best part of the manuscript before it is published. The post-review process takes 15 days.

Production process

  • Manuscript accepted, abstract publication

Manuscripts that have gone through a post-review process will be accepted by the editor, and the abstract will be submitted to the nearest issue of publication.

  • Proofreading and copyediting

This process is editing which includes sentence modification (if needed), checking language, tables, and figures and curating reference metadata (in-cite and bibliography). The editor will insert the supporting files of the script into the data repository (Fighsare and Zenodo). Uncorrected proof manuscripts are communicated to the author, and then the production stage.

  • JIPPM journal environment style adjustment, and full text publishing

The provision of full text according to the style of the JIPPM journal is possible with the output in XML and PDF formats.
