Abstract

The good health condition of every community is supported by good knowledge and understanding. Good understanding and knowledge will support a person to behave, for example, behaving towards a problem such as the disease he is facing. The disease we are currently facing is the spread of the Covid-19 virus that attacks the human respiratory system, which affects all systems of human life and can cause death. Early prevention with education to every community can change the mindset of the community to prepare for this situation. The counseling was carried out by involving all components of the Bethel Indonesia Calvary Church, namely Health Counseling on Prevention of Acute Respiratory Infections Behavior during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The Health Counseling was attended by 58 people with the reason for determining the location because it was found that some congregations had symptoms of respiratory problems such as coughs, runny noses and sore throats. Counseling is carried out twice a week, in conducting counseling the congregation is given an understanding of the introduction and understanding between ordinary respiratory disorders and those caused by Covid-19, as well as how to prevent and avoid respiratory disorders caused by ordinary infections and Covid-19 infections. Counseling has been carried out, all congregations have understood and understood how to distinguish between ordinary respiratory disorders and Covid as well as prevention efforts through behavior.
