About the Journal

J2MR (Journal of Midwifery, Maternal and Reproductive Health Studies) is an open-access scientific journal published by the Department of Midwifery, Poltekkes Kemenkes Kendari, dedicated to advancing knowledge and facilitating the dissemination of high-quality research in midwifery, maternal health, and reproductive health. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for publishing original research articles, critical reviews, case reports, and evidence-based innovations that collectively aim to improve maternal and reproductive health outcomes locally and globally.

J2MR encompasses a focused yet collaborative range of topics across the reproductive health continuum—antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care; neonatal and child health; reproductive health and family planning; and women's health across the life cycle—while also welcoming contributions from closely related fields such as nursing, nutrition, and public health. This integrated scope supports cross-professional collaboration to generate comprehensive, evidence-based solutions for maternal and reproductive health challenges in Indonesia and the wider global community.
