The Audiovisual Education Effect on Knowledge Skills and Efficacy of Mother in Carrying out Kangaroo Method Care

Ringkasan: Latar Belakang: Perawatan Metode Kanguru (PMK) merupakan intervensi efektif untuk bayi berat lahir rendah (BBLR), namun memerlukan edukasi menggunakan media yang tepat agar ibu mampu melakukannya dengan optimal. Tujuan: Menganalisis efektivitas edukasi melalui media audiovisual dibandingkan leaflet terhadap pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan efikasi ibu dalam melakukan PMK. Metode: Penelitian quasi experimental pre-post test dengan kelompok kontrol. Sebanyak 48 ibu dengan BBLR dibagi dalam kelompok intervensi (audiovisual) dan kontrol (leaflet). Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner tervalidasi dan daftar tilik PMK, dianalisis dengan Wilcoxon dan Mann-Whitney. Hasil: Media audiovisual efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan (p<0,001), keterampilan, dan efikasi ibu (p<0,05). Leaflet hanya meningkatkan keterampilan dan efikasi (p<0,05), namun tidak signifikan pada pengetahuan (p>0,05). Audiovisual lebih efektif dibandingkan leaflet untuk keterampilan dan efikasi (p<0,001). Simpulan: Media audiovisual superior dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dan efikasi PMK dibandingkan leaflet, dengan efektivitas setara untuk pengetahuan. Saran: Media audiovisual direkomendasikan sebagai strategi edukasi PMK dalam persiapan pulang ibu BBLR.
