Abstract

Ringkasan: Latar Belakang: Front of Package Nutrition Labelling (FoPNL) merupakan strategi pelabelan gizi sederhana di bagian depan kemasan untuk membantu konsumen memilih produk pangan yang lebih sehat sebagai upaya pengendalian obesitas. Tujuan: Mengetahui efektivitas FoPNL pada dewasa obesitas dalam pengendalian obesitas melalui tinjauan literatur sistematis. Metode: Systematic review menggunakan strategi pencarian PICO melalui database PubMed, Science Direct, NCBI, dan Scopus. Kriteria inklusi publikasi 2019-2024, populasi dewasa, free full text, bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia. Review menggunakan Critical Appraisal Skills Programme tools dengan 10 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria. Hasil: FoPNL efektif mengurangi prevalensi obesitas dan kelebihan berat badan melalui pengurangan asupan makanan dan minuman berkalori tinggi. Format FoPNL terbagi menjadi lima sistem: simple, numerik, kode warna, grade, dan peringatan. Efektivitas bergantung pada motivasi, kesadaran, pengetahuan konsumen, dan format yang digunakan. Simpulan: FoPNL dapat digunakan untuk pengendalian obesitas pada usia dewasa dengan mempertimbangkan format dan faktor konsumen. Saran: Diperlukan penelitian format FoPNL berbeda sebagai dasar pemilihan format sesuai masyarakat Indonesia.
