Abstract

Latar belakang: gangguan keseimbangan merupakan masalah motorik utama pada anak Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) dan mengganggu aktivitas fungsional, sementara bukti intervensi permainan sensorimotor terstruktur terhadap keseimbangan dinamis masih terbatas. Tujuan: menganalisis pengaruh play-based exercise berbasis Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) terhadap keseimbangan anak ASD usia 7–12 tahun. Metode: desain pre-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest pada 22 anak ASD di SLB Mitra Ananda Karanganyar, dengan delapan sesi play-based exercise selama empat minggu (dua kali/minggu, ±30 menit/sesi). Keseimbangan dinamis diukur menggunakan Balance Beam Test dan dianalisis dengan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (?=0,05). Hasil: rerata skor Balance Beam Test meningkat dari 2,659±1,200 menjadi 4,041±0,756 dengan selisih rata-rata 1,382 dan menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna (p=0,000). Simpulan: play-based exercise berbasis PMP berpotensi meningkatkan keseimbangan dinamis anak ASD usia sekolah dasar. Saran: intervensi ini direkomendasikan sebagai komponen program fisioterapi dan pendidikan jasmani berbasis sekolah bagi anak ASD serta perlu diuji lebih lanjut dengan uji coba terkontrol acak, sampel lebih besar, dan tindak lanjut jangka panjang
