Abstract

Lung tuberculosis, also known as pulmonary tuberculosis, is an infection that affects the lungs and is caused by a bacteria called Mycobaterium tuberculosis. Lung tuberculosis is still a problem that affects people all around the world. More than seventy-five percent of people who are of working age will get lung tuberculosis at some point in their lives. Patients who have pulmonary tuberculosis may have a harder time recovering from their illness depending on a number of factors, including their age, level of education, nutritional status, environmental conditions, and compliance with their medicine. Patients who have pulmonary TB are being studied at the X Government Hospital in Denpasar, Indonesia, in order to establish how treatment adherence affects the patients' chances of recovering from their illness. Studies based on observations are going to be done as part of this inquiry. Patients are polled utilizing data extracted from their medical files as the source of the information. The sample size for this particular investigation is composed of 53 different patients. Nonprobability In this particular study, sampling was carried out using the method of purposeful sampling. Patients who do not take their medication as directed can be divided into two categories: those who are errant and those who are disobedient. The researchers who conducted their study at X Government Hospital Denpasar discovered that there was no connection between patients' adherence to their treatment and their rate of recovery from pulmonary tuberculosis. There is a statistically significant connection (p = 0.000) between patients at X Government Hospital Denpasar taking their medications as prescribed and having a higher rate of success in curing pulmonary tuberculosis with medicines. The degree of cooperation plays a big role in the overall significance of the healing. This is due to the fact that the rate of healing is proportional to the strength of the power relationships, which in this instance equals a value of 0.681 Patients who are getting better, taking their medication as prescribed, and tuberculosis
