Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Tentang Anemia Dan Tablet Fe Dengan Media Whatsapp Untuk Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Ibu Hamil Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kartasura

Abstract

Anemia occurs in pregnant women for various reasons, such as inadequate nutritional intake, disease infections, employment, education, economy, diet, poor social and geographical status and lack of iron intake such as Fe tablets during pregnancy. The government has implemented efforts to give Fe tablets to pregnant women during pregnancy at least 90 tablets as an effort to prevent anemia in pregnancy. Low levels of knowledge among pregnant women have a significant impact on how they care for and take care of themselves during pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of health education about anemia and Fe tablets with whatsapp media to increase knowledge in pregnant women in the kartasura health center work area. This research uses a type of quantitative research pre-experimental method with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study was pregnant women in the Kartasura Health Center work area totaling 50 respondents taken by accidental sampling technique. Data processing using univariate and bivariate analysis in the form of data normality test results in tests with shapiro-wilk and with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. As a result of the calculation of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, the Z value obtained is -4,787 with a p value (asymp. Sig 2 tailed) of 0.000 where less than the critical limit of research of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05 which means there is a significant difference between pre test and post test knowledge of pregnant women.
