Abstract

Background: Family planning (KB) is one of the most basic and primary preventive health measures for women. Many women experience difficulties in determining the choice of contraception. One way that can be used to assist mothers in choosing family planning is to use decision-making tools. Data from PLKB Rangkasbitung District in January-August 2022 showed that 9539 couples of childbearing age were actively using family planning, of which 106 had stopped using family planning. already dead. Purpose: To find out "Effectiveness of the Use of Decision Making Assistance Tools (ABPK) on Increasing the Knowledge of 1-Month Injecting Contraception Acceptors at Pmb Midwife Mira Kurnia in 2022. Research method: The research design used in this study is a quantitative study. This research is a method research quasi experimental design with Pre and Post Test with Control Group Design. The type of research used was research based on a questionnaire. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The population in this study were 88 elderly people while the sample was taken using the sample size technique as many as 48 people. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon statistical test quisioner. Results: After conducting bivariate analysis using the chi-square statistical test, we obtained a p-value = 0.012 (p <0.05), which means that there is a relationship between the use of decision-making aids and the choice of contraceptives.
