Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between smoking frequency and oral health with the level of oral health knowledge among adolescents at one of the Kuningan District High Schools. The type of research used is an analytic survey with a research design using cross sectional which intends to find relationships between one condition and another at the same time and the same population. The research was carried out in April 2021 with a total of 40 young male respondents in class XI at a high school in Kuningan Regency aged 16-18 years. Sampling using purposive sampling. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a relationship between smoking frequency and oral health knowledge in terms of the lighter the frequency of smoking and the type of cigarette used, the higher the knowledge of dental health.
