Abstract

  Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is one of the leading causes of death in toddlers. ISPA can cause complications if not handled properly. The purpose of this study was to describe the mother's knowledge about ISPA in toddlers in the working area of the Purwosari Surakarta Health Center. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. Most of the respondents in this study were aged 26-35 years (61.4%), had high school education (74.3%), worked as housewives (74.3%), toddler age 2 – < 3  (44.3%), and had sons (57.1%) ). Most of the respondents in this study had good knowledge (55.7%).
