Adolescence is a transition from childhood to adulthood, so this period has its own characteristics that are different from other periods of life. During this transitional period, human curiosity is greater than in other periods of life. That is why teenagers prefer to try various things that often lead to dire consequences, including drug addiction. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of late puberty and risky behavior in drug addiction. The method used in this study is a cross sectional approach with the aim of knowing whether or not there is a correlation between the dependent variable and the independent variable. In addition, the population used in this study was 95 late adolescent respondents aged 18-21 years in the 2020/2021 FKM class. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires in the form of a Likert scale and checklist. Data analysis used in this study included univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test.
