Open Access Policy
JHNC provides immediate, free, and unrestricted access to all published content, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0).
The Journal of Holistic Nursing and Clinical Innovation (JHNC) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge in nursing and clinical health sciences. All articles published in JHNC are freely accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration, or payment barriers for readers anywhere in the world.

All articles published by JHNC are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Under this license, readers and users are permitted to:
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, for any purpose, including commercial use.
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.
Under the following terms:
- Attribution — Appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s) and JHNC as the source, with a link to the license, and an indication of any changes made.
- ShareAlike — If the material is remixed, transformed, or built upon, the resulting contributions must be distributed under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 license as the original.
Authors who publish with JHNC retain the copyright of their work and grant JHNC the right of first publication. Authors are permitted, and encouraged, to:
- Deposit the published version of their article in institutional or subject repositories.
- Share their published article on academic networking sites, personal websites, or social media, provided proper citation to the original publication in JHNC is included.

JHNC permits and encourages authors and third-party libraries to archive published articles for long-term digital preservation and to support wider readership. This ensures the continuity of access to JHNC's scholarly content even in the event of future technical or organizational changes to the journal's hosting platform.
