Profil Bakteri Proteus sp., Klebsiella sp., Dan Streptococcus sp., Yang Diisolasi Dari Penderita Ulkus Diabetikum

Latar Belakang: Ulkus diabetikum merupakan komplikasi kronik diabetes melitus yang rentan terhadap infeksi polimikroba. Tujuan: Mengidentifikasi profil bakteri Proteus sp., Klebsiella sp., dan Streptococcus sp. dari penderita ulkus diabetikum. Metode: Desain deskriptif observasional, potong lintang, pada 20 sampel swab ulkus diabetikum di RSUD Bahteramas, Sulawesi Tenggara. Identifikasi bakteri melalui kultur Brain Heart Infusion Broth (BHIB), MacConkey Agar (MCA), Blood Agar Plate (BAP), uji biokimia (IMViC, TSIA, katalase) dan pewarnaan Gram. Hasil: Seluruh sampel (100%) menunjukkan pertumbuhan bakteri pada BHIB. Tiga genus yang berhasil diidentifikasi: Proteus sp. (30%, n=6), Klebsiella sp. (30%, n=6), dan Streptococcus sp. (40%, n=8). Bakteri Gram-negatif mendominasi 60% (13/20 isolat). Kesimpulan: Infeksi ulkus diabetikum bersifat polimikroba dengan dominasi Gram-negatif. Identifikasi bakteri akurat esensial untuk terapi antimikroba rasional dan pencegahan komplikasi Saran: Disarankan setiap laboratorium klinik melakukan kultur dan uji resistensi antibiotik secara rutin
