ANALYSIS OF REFERENCES RESEARCH CUBE FOR THE PERIOD 2012-2022

Abstract

Cupping is a traditional medicine method not only in Indonesia but almost all over the world. Cupping is a form of traditional health service (Yankestrad). During a pandemic, several efforts are needed to improve the immune system, including cupping. To make it easier to find novelty in cupping research, bibliometric analysis is needed. This research method is descriptive analytic, using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application and the VOSviewer_1.6.18 application (VoS) in January 2022. We obtained 230 Scopus indexed cupping research articles from 2012 to 2022; the top ten journals in publishing cupping research; eight prolific cupping writers; and six words/terms that are widely used in cupping research; there are six items and three clusters in the network visualization; the overall strength of the relationship is 30, there are no immune terms or words related to the immune system; and the overlay display shows there is no relationship. Conclusion: quantitatively, the topic of cupping research, by looking at the statistical results of VoS using the term "immune" or "immune system" in the article title, is still small, so it is not detected and does not appear in the network visualization. However, qualitatively, it still needs to be continued in a systematic review of the literature review (SLR) to see and determine the specific variables to be studied by the immune system.
