sports event has the potential to cause emergency events. Cases of physical trauma are common cases, but cardiac arrest also occurs several times during exercise. Students need to have practical experience in handling emergencies in sports, because they must be ready to be placed anywhere after graduation, including being a medical team in sports management. This study aims to explore the experiences of nursing students in the practice of emergency aid in the implementation of sports. The research method uses a qualitative approach, with a sample of 10 people taken by purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used a semi-structured interview technique from a list of questions. The results showed that there were 4 themes, the Need for direct and specific injury-handling training, Feeling insecure, Gaps between learning and practice, and the Need for professional competence in handling injuries. The theme appears to be highly correlated with nursing competence, there is no specific one for handling emergencies in sports.
