Cognitive Behavior Therapy (Cbt) Sebagai Terapi Tingkat Stress Pada Lansia

Elderly is a closing period in a person's life span starting from the age of 60 years until death which is marked by changes in physical, psychological and social conditions that interact with each other. The elderly are more likely to experience stress as a result of the physical, psychological, spiritual and psychosocial changes they experience. The purpose of this study was to see whether Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) helps the elderly in Gumpang Village, Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency to reduce their stress. A quantitative study was conducted, and a pre-experimental design was used for the study. with accidental sampling method for sampling. Elderly aged between 65 and 70 years, elderly who are able to carry out physical activities alone, and elderly who completed all Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) activities met the inclusion criteria for this study. Data was collected using the DASS questionnaire instrument It had been examined for its reliability by researchers from the past. Data processing used univariate and bivariate analysis in the form of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of the calculation of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, Z value obtained -8.122 with a p-value of 0.000 which is less than the research critical limit of 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) which means there is a significant difference between the pre test and post test Cognitive Behavior Therapy is done.
