Hubungan Tingkat Stres Dengan Kualitas Tidur Pada Pasien Gagal Jantung

Heart failure is a condition in which the heart is unable to kill enough blood to meet the tissue's need for oxygen and nutrients, causing various clinical manifestations in sufferers. With these clinical manifestations, sufferers can experience psychological disorders, one of which is stress. Excessive stress can interfere with sleep sufferers resulting in decreased sleep quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stress levels and sleep quality in heart failure patients. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive, using a cross-sectional data collection method. The number of respondents was 106 respondents in the cardiac polyclinic at UNS Hospital using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire, PSS (Perceived Stress Scale) to measure stress levels and PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) to measure sleep quality. Data analysis using chi-square. The results showed that heart failure patients experienced moderate stress levels of 59.4% and poor sleep quality of 84%, there was a relationship between stress levels and sleep quality with a Sig value. (2-sided) P = 0.007. The conclusion from this study is the level of Stress is related to sleep quality in heart failure patients.
