The Effect of Pursed Lip Breathing on Fatigue in CKD Patients in the Hemodialysis Room at Bahteramas Hospital

From interviews with 10 respondents said that the current conditions experienced are tiredness, dizziness, lack of appetite, and 3 other respondents said their activities were assisted by their families, and they could not work as usual. The aim of this study was to identify the effect of pursed lips breathing on fatigue in patients with chronic renal failure in the hemodialysis room of the Bahteramas general hospital. This type of research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental pre and post test without control. A sample of 20 people using purposive sampling technique. method of analysis using paired sample t-test. The results of this study were obtained p value 0.000 (p <0.000). So it can be concluded that there is an effect of fatigue before and after pursed lips breathing. It is recommended for health workers to implement pursed lip braething in hemodialysis patients.
