The Singgani Health Center is one of the health facilities that have low coverage of exclusive breastfeeding, which is 31.37%. The lowest breastfeeding coverage was in the West Besusu sub-district, namely 29.17%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of booklet media on the knowledge and attitudes of third-trimester pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding. This research method is quasi-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The study population was all third-trimester pregnant women. The sampling technique used a saturated sample so that the research sample was 40 third-trimester pregnant women. Data analysis used descriptive test, normality test used Shapiro Wilk test, and Wilcoxon test. The results showed that knowledge and attitudes before being given counseling using booklet media, the average knowledge was in a good category by 2.5% and a positive attitude by 55%. After being given counseling, the mother's knowledge and attitude increased by 95% good knowledge and her positive attitude by 95% with a p-value of 0.000. The conclusion is that there is an effect of booklet media on the knowledge and attitudes of third-trimester pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding. This research is expected to be the basis for suggestions that midwives can provide education for pregnant women using booklets so that they can increase their understanding of the importance of exclusive breastfeeding.
