Pencitraan Computed Tomography Pada Pasien Trauma Thoracolumbar RSUP PROF. DR. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Tahun 2022
Abstract
Thoracolumbar trauma is a type of trauma to the bones that can cause disability, deformity and neurological deficits, either transiently or permanently. The impact of late diagnosis of thoracolumbar trauma can cause permanent disability and reduce quality of life. Therefore, classification based on imaging needs to be done as soon as possible to get the right treatment. The aim of this study was to determine the characteristics of computed tomography radiological images in thoracolumbar trauma patients at Prof. Hospital. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah in 2022. The method used in this study was a cross-sectional method with a retrospective descriptive type of research. Sample collection was obtained through patient data with thoracolumbar trauma at Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah in 2022. Analysis of the research data is in the form of descriptive analysis in the form of frequencies and percentages on categorical data as well as averages and standard deviations on numerical data using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) software version 26.0. Based on age, it was found that the most respondents who experienced thoracolumbar trauma were at the age of 51-59 (31.3%). Based on gender, the patients were male (68.7%) and female (31.3%). Based on clinical symptoms, patients with back pain (90.7%) and neurological disorders (28.1%). Based on radiological imaging history, there was listhesis (21.9%), corpus compression (100%), corpus retropulsion (78.1%), facet dislocation (6.3%), interspinous distance (3.1%). Based on the type of trauma, it can be divided into three, namely compression type (15.6%), burst type (78.1%), and chance type (12.5%). The mean canal encroachment was also found to be 37.63 ± 27.97. The characteristics of the respondents were divided into 4 categories, namely age, sex, clinical symptoms, and radiological imaging with a CT scan
