Faktor Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Hiperemesis Gravidarum Di Klinik Mardianum Kecamatan Medan Area Tahun 2022

Hyperemesis gravidarum (HEG) is a condition of persistent vomiting in pregnancy that causes various disturbances in the body's balance such as dehydration, electrolyte disturbances, metabolism and nutritional deficiencies and can even cause death. The etiology is not known with certainty. Some of the risk factors are maternal age, gravida, parity, educational level, socioeconomic, multiple pregnancies, hydatidiform mole, and history of HEG. This study aims to determine the factors associated with hyperemesis gravidarum at the Mardianum Clinic, Medan Area District. This type of research is an analytic observational study with a case control design. The population of this study were all 1st trimester pregnant women at the Mardianum clinic, Medan area district in 2022. The sample required for this study was 56 pregnant women who were taken using the accidental sampling technique. Data collection was analyzed by chi-square test. The results of this study showed that the prevalence of hyperemesis gravidarum at the knowledge mardianum clinic with hyperemesis gravidarum was 42.9% and attitude with hyperemesis gravidarum was 76.6%. The results of the biavria analysis show that there is a relationship between knowledge and hyperemesis gravidarum at the Mardianum clinic, Medan sub-district, in 2022 with a p value = 0.019 (<0.1), there is a relationship between attitude and hyperemesis gravidarum at the Mardianum clinic, Medan area in 2022 with a p value = 0.004 (<01).
