The Journal of Nutrition and Food Health Sciences (JNFH) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Nutrition (Jurusan Gizi), Poltekkes Kemenkes Kendari. JNFH publishes original research, reviews, case studies, and scientific communications examining the role of nutrition and food in human health across the life course — bridging laboratory, clinical, community, and policy perspectives so that findings can be translated into practical nutrition and food health interventions.

A Brief History
JNFH was established by the Department of Nutrition, Poltekkes Kemenkes Kendari, to provide a dedicated scholarly outlet for nutrition and food health research emerging from Southeast Sulawesi and the wider Indonesian research community. Since its founding, the journal has grown as a platform connecting academics, clinicians, and policymakers working to improve nutrition-related health outcomes.
