About the Journal
The Journal of Nutrition and Food Health Sciences (JNFH) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Department of Nutrition (Jurusan Gizi), Poltekkes Kemenkes Kendari. JNFH publishes original research, reviews, case studies, and scientific communications examining the role of nutrition and food in human health across the life course — bridging laboratory, clinical, community, and policy perspectives so that findings can be translated into practical nutrition and food health interventions.
JNFH is institutionally funded and operated by the Department of Nutrition (Jurusan Gizi), Poltekkes Kemenkes Kendari, under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. No external sponsor, advertiser, or commercial entity influences editorial decisions, peer review outcomes, or the content of published articles. Editorial independence is maintained at all times, and any future third-party funding or collaboration will be transparently disclosed on this page.
The names and email addresses entered in this journal's system will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of JNFH and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
JNFH is working toward formal enrollment in a distributed digital archiving system (such as LOCKSS/CLOCKSS or the PKP Preservation Network) to further safeguard long-term content availability. This page will be updated once enrollment is confirmed.
JNFH was established by the Department of Nutrition, Poltekkes Kemenkes Kendari, to provide a dedicated scholarly outlet for nutrition and food health research emerging from Southeast Sulawesi and the wider Indonesian research community. Since its founding, the journal has grown as a platform connecting academics, clinicians, and policymakers working to improve nutrition-related health outcomes.
