Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Bibliographic and formatting standards, together with citation examples, to help authors prepare a submission-ready manuscript for JNFH.

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Nutrition and Food Health Sciences (JNFH) must follow the structure, formatting, and citation standards below. Manuscripts that do not conform to these guidelines may be returned to the author for revision before entering the editorial screening stage.

Manuscript Structure

Title Pageconcise title, full author names, affiliations, and corresponding author's email.

Abstractstructured, 200–250 words (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion), followed by 3–5 keywords.

Introductionbackground, problem statement, and clearly stated research objective.

Methodsdesign, sampling, instruments, and analysis procedure, detailed enough for replication.

Resultsobjective findings presented with tables/figures, without interpretation.

Discussioninterpretation of findings, comparison with prior literature, and implications for practice.

Pre-Submission Checklist
Manuscript follows the required structure and section order.
All references are cited in APA 7th edition format.
Similarity index has been checked and is within JNFH's policy.
Ethics approval / informed consent is attached, if applicable.
All co-authors have approved the final version for submission.
Tables and figures are correctly numbered and captioned.
