User Satisfaction with the Use of Electronic Medical Records in Private Hospitals: A Cross Sectional Study

EMR user satisfaction is one of several benchmarks of the success level of utilization of an information system in the hospital. This research aimed to analyze user satisfaction with the use of EMR which is expected to be useful as a basis for hospital management in making policies to develop the EMR system in the hospital. This study is a cross-sectional analytic study whose research population is 132 respondents in several hospitals with the same type of hospital.. Out of 132 respondents, as many as 67 (50,76%)) respondents in the good category of EMR usage variables showed 49 (37,12%) respondents had good user satisfaction and 18 (13,64%) respondents had not good user satisfaction. The use of EMR with a not good category as many as 65 (49,24%) respondents had good user satisfaction as many as 25 (18,94%) respondents and 40 (30,30%) respondents had not good user satisfaction. The results of the Chi Square test showed a significant correlation (p-value 0.000 < ? 0.05). The research provides evidence that there is a correlation between the use of EMR and user satisfaction with a strong correlation relationship.
