Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection has been the most important predisposing factor in the development of Tuberculosis (TB) since the early 1980s where one-third of HIV-infected patients in the world have co-infection with pulmonary TB. TB in people with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) can have a clinical picture atypical which causes difficulty in diagnosis, and becomes the most opportunistic infection and causes death of HIV sufferers. The type of research used was descriptive with a retrospective approach by looking at patient medical records from January to June 2022. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded: A total of 6 people (2.75%) were HIV positive suffering from tuberculosis, 212 people ( 97.25%) HIV negative suffer from tuberculosis. Of the 6 HIV positive people, 3 are women and 3 are men.
