Peran Pemerintah Dan Perilaku Masyarakat Dalam Menjaga Ekosistem Hutan Mangrove Di Kabupaten Langkat
Abstract
Background:As the lungs of the world, mangrove forests in Indonesia are one of the forests contributing to O2 (Oxygen), and the largest reservoir of biomass reserves. There are 5.3 million ha of mangrove forests in Indonesia reduced in the last 19 years. After 8.6 million ha of Indonesia's mangrove forests in 2002 were reduced and only 3.3 million ha remained in 2021. Objectives:This study aims to determine the role of the government in preserving mangrove forests and community behavior in maintaining the preservation of mangrove forests in Langkat district, North Sumatra Province. Methods: The method used in this study is the mix method by combining qualitative and quantitative research. Quantitative research was conducted with a Cross Sectional approach design. Quantitative research was conducted with a Cross Sectional approach design. Data obtained from primary data and skunder data.
