Abstract

This community service aims to provide health services in the form of blood type, blood pressure and nutritional status examinations as an effort to detect diseases that are common among students early. The method of implementing the activity consists of several stages, namely the preparation stage, socialization, and implementation of health screening. A total of 50 students of SMAN 11 South Konawe Regency participated in this activity. The screening results showed that 32 students (64%) had normal nutritional status, 9 students (18%) had poor nutritional status, 4 students (8%) were overweight, and 5 students (10%) were obese. The most common blood type found was blood type O, as many as 23 people (46%), followed by blood type A as many as 13 people (26%), blood type B as many as 9 people (18%), and blood type AB as many as 5 people (10%). Most students (43 students or 86%) had normal blood pressure, and 7 students (14%) had blood pressure in the pre-hypertension category. From this activity, it can be concluded that the majority of students are in good health, but there are some who need attention regarding nutritional status and blood pressure. Intervention recommendations such as nutrition education and increased physical activity need to be implemented to maintain and improve adolescent health as a whole.
