Abstract

Efforts to increase community knowledge about the management of emergency cases, namely choking that occurs in children can reduce child mortality. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and ability of the community in managing emergency cases, namely choking that occurs in children. The method used was counseling and demonstration of the management of choking in children. This activity involves the participation of the people of Mekar Village, Soropia District, Konawe Regency so that they can understand and be able to take steps to manage choking in children. The results of community service show that the community shows a positive response and is enthusiastic about participating in community service activities
