A press release from UNICEF explained that about 30 thousand infant deaths in Indonesia can be prevented through exclusive breastfeeding. An analysis explains that breastfeeding alone for 6 months can save 1.3 million lives worldwide. Oxytocin massage for breastfeeding mothers is useful for stimulating the oxytocin hormone so that later it can facilitate the release of breast milk. The aim of the activity is to increase the knowledge of women of childbearing age (WUS) in order to understand the effectiveness of oxytocin massage on the smooth production of breast milk. The methods used are lectures and simulations. This activity involved midwives from the Soropia Public Health Center and 15 WUS in Atowatu Village, Soropia District, Konawe Regency. The results of the activity showed that the majority of participants had a poor pre-test knowledge score (86.7%) and after being given socialization most of the participants had a good post-test knowledge score (93.3%). The results of the dedication showed that there was an increase in WUS knowledge after receiving the oxytocin massage socialization. This activity is useful for improving MCH services related to the health of postpartum mothers and babies in supporting breastfeeding through oxytocin massage which is effective in promoting breast milk production.
