Every patient who is treated always receives infusion procedures, this action causes pain so that non-pharmacological measures are needed to minimize the pain felt by children, natural music therapy is one of the right choices. This study aims to determine the effect of natural music therapy on the intensity of pain experienced by children aged 6-12 years during the infusion procedure in the Emergency Room of the Puuwatu Kendari Health Center. This type of research is quantitative with quasi experimental method Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample is children who get infusion procedures aged 6-12 years selected using the convenience sampling method consisting of 15 people in the intervention group and 15 people in the control group. Natural music therapy was listened to by children in the intervention group for 30-45 minutes starting from the preparation of the procedure until completion while in the control group without music therapy. The paired t-test results showed a significant decrease in pain intensity in the intervention group with a p-value of 0.001 and in the control group p-value 0.055. Natural music therapy is effective in reducing pain intensity in children aged 6-12 years during the infusion procedure.
