Hubungan Antara Pendidikan Ibu Dengan Status Gizi Anak Usia 1 Tahun 6 Bulan Sampai 2 Tahun Di Rs Sumber Waras

Maternal education is one of the factors that can affect the nutritional status of children. The level of education of the parents especially the mother, is related to understand a good nutrition for children. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of mother's educational level with the nutritional status of children aged 1 year 6 months to 2 years old at Sumber Waras Hospital, West Jakarta. A cross-sectional study was done using medical record data of 64 children aged 1 year 6 months to 2 years old. The statistical method used to test in this study is kendall's tau correlation test. There is significant different 0.03 (p <0.05) between maternal education level and the nutritional status of children aged 1 year 6 months to 2 years old. In addition, a positive correlation (r = 0.323) was found between the two parameters. This shows the higher the maternal education level, the better the nutritional status of children. There is a close relationship between the maternal education level with the nutritional status of children aged 1 year 6 months to 2 years old at Sumber Waras Hospital, West Jakarta. Therefore, It is important to look at the level of education and knowledge of the mother in order to get a good nutritional status in children.
