Gambaran Pengetahuan dan Sikap Remaja terhadap Perilaku Adiksi (Rokok dan Napza) di SMAN 11 Medan

Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adults. At this time adolescents experience growth and development which is marked by physical and behavioral changes as well as the occurrence of emotional and sexual maturity. Adolescence is also a period that is vulnerable to negative influences, so there are many cases of juvenile delinquency and bad behavior in adolescents, such as smoking, sexuality, alcohol consumption, and drug abuse. Addictive behavior is behavior that causes a person to be in a state of physical or mental dependence on things that cause influence and change in behavior for those who experience it. Addictive behavior involves a loss of self-control over the use of addictive substances so that users repeat the behavior of using these substances and continue to tolerate the effects of these substances so that they need to increase the dose to get a certain experience. . (Pramuditya, in Wahyuni, et al, 2021). Addictive behavior can be experienced by smokers, vape users, alcohol consumers, and drug users. The purpose of this study was to see how the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents towards addictive behavior (cigarettes and drugs) at SMAN 11 Medan are described. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with observational methods and accidental sampling techniques. The population in this study were teenagers or students of SMAN 11 Medan with a sample of 40 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is good knowledge and attitudes in adolescents towards addictive behavior at SMAN 11 Medan
