Abstract

Latar Belakang: Gagal jantung berdampak signifikan terhadap kualitas hidup pasien, namun bukti ilmiah efektivitas booklet terhadap skor Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire (MLHFQ) masih terbatas. Tujuan: Menganalisis efektivitas edukasi kesehatan berbasis booklet terhadap kualitas hidup pasien gagal jantung berdasarkan total skor dan domain fisik-emosional MLHFQ. Metode: Kuasi-eksperimental one-group pretest-posttest pada 148 pasien gagal jantung rawat jalan di RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta, Maret–Juli 2025. Sampel dipilih purposive sampling menggunakan rumus Slovin. Intervensi berupa edukasi tatap muka 30–45 menit menggunakan booklet berbasis pedoman American Heart Association. Kualitas hidup diukur menggunakan MLHFQ versi Indonesia (?=0,753) pada pre-test dan post-test satu bulan pasca-intervensi. Analisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (?=0,05). Hasil: Terdapat penurunan signifikan median skor total MLHFQ dari 38,00 menjadi 23,50 (selisih 13 poin; Z=?10,540; p<0,001; r=0,87), domain fisik turun 7 poin (Z=?10,435; p<0,001; r=0,86), dan domain emosional turun 3 poin (Z=?9,260; p<0,001; r=0,76), melampaui minimal clinically important difference ?5 poin. Simpulan: Edukasi kesehatan berbasis booklet efektif meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien gagal jantung secara statistik dan klinis pada domain fisik maupun emosional. Saran: menggunakan desain randomized controlled trial pada penelitian selanjutnya
