Dampak Masalah Psikologis Terhadap Kualitas Hidup Pasien Gagal Jantung: Systematic Review

Heart Failure, also known as Heart Failure or Cardiac Failure, is a chronic disease whose prevalence increases every year. Heart failure results in high mortality and morbidity rates, besides that it has a financial impact, especially in elderly patients. The purpose of this study was to identify, summarize and analyze the impact of psychological problems in heart failure patients on quality of life. The research method used is a systematic review. Literature was searched from the Scopus and Science Direct databases in November–December 2022. A total of 1,083 articles were obtained in the searches. The selection process is carried out through the stages of duplication, title, abstract and keyword selection followed by full text selection. The selection results obtained 8 articles that met the predetermined criteria. Critical review was carried out using tools from the Joanna Briggs Institute for Cross Sectional designs. Review reporting uses Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses/PRISMA. The results of the analysis obtained 6 articles which stated that psychological problems had a major impact on the quality of life of heart failure patients. Psychological problems experienced by heart failure patients include anxiety and depression, besides that these problems have a significant impact on the quality of life of heart failure patients.
