Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga dengan Tingkat Keparahan Gejala pada Pasien Gagal Jantung

Abstrak: Latar belakang: Gagal jantung menimbulkan penurunan fungsi tubuh yang berdampak pada kualitas hidup pasien. Dukungan keluarga terbukti memengaruhi manajemen diri pada penyakit kronis, namun bukti empiris pada gagal jantung di Indonesia masih terbatas. Tujuan: Menganalisis hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat keparahan gejala pada pasien gagal jantung. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif-korelatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional melibatkan 317 responden di Poliklinik Jantung RS Universitas Sebelas Maret yang diseleksi melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Family Support Scale (FSS) dan Heart Failure Somatic Perception Scale (HFSPS). Hasil: Uji korelasi Spearman rank menghasilkan p-value 0,000 dan koefisien korelasi -0,775, menunjukkan korelasi negatif kuat yang berarti peningkatan dukungan keluarga secara signifikan menekan persepsi gejala. Simpulan: Dukungan keluarga berperan penting dalam menurunkan tingkat keparahan gejala pada pasien gagal jantung. Saran: Diperlukan intervensi berbasis keluarga dalam edukasi dan perawatan berkelanjutan untuk optimalisasi manajemen gejala gagal jantung.
